I just found this short, yet incredibly succinct article written by Tony Moton, on a Yahoo search. To sum it up...it's about 5 really important types of jobs that are in high demand and that are alleged to be recession proof.
I like this article from a SEO/SEM vantage point because it gives you great content with hyperlinked keywords to relevant content sites. It's not too long of an article, where you lose your audience within 5 minutes. It's not too short, where it looks like a status update on a social media website like Facebook or Twitter. It has a simple image attached to it. It has all the pinnings of a great SEO/SEM article.
Stats and/or graphs are always great to have because it puts things into perspective visually and numerically to the reader. (or at least it should...) I personally would have included images of graphs detailing a comparison of another job with similar pay scale that is NOT stable in this recession.
